I've killed around 280 as my high, right around levels 61-65, so I'm sure there's probably many more. My guess is 100, so I'll keep trying, lol.

1 player game, once you beat level 20, it opens up more levels. I've gotten as high as 320 tanks, I think it was level 67. But now my skin is too pale , and I will spend some time outside.

Wii tanks has 100 levels (and 540 tanks if you kill them all) if you play with one person but the first time you make to to level 20 it will stop you and say "mission comnplete" and you get the "gold metal". The next time you get to level 20 you can keep going all the way to level 100 (if you are very good and have a little luck). If you play with two people there are only 20 levels (and 84 tanks to kill).

Having made completed many missions there are quite a few strategies you need to know to be very successful. For example, the tanks that first appear on level 5 that shoot fast moving flaming missles always shot to cut off your retreat unless you stand still then they will shoot straight at you. As long as you don't let them get too close you can easily dodge their missles. The black tanks that first appear on level 50 are faster, and shoot the same fast moving flaming missles but a lot more of them. However, their missles don't rebound so they are fairly easy to beat as long as you keep a barrier between them and your tank and bounce your bullets off stuff to get them.

One more tip - be patient as their is no penalty for taking your time. Good luck.

I beat the game once and there were only 20 levels with 84 tanks. Now, you're telling me that if I replay it and can get that high again that there are more levels ane more types of tanks after all? I never knew or heard that before.

I was able to blow up 540 tanks the other day and got the mission complete message that you get the first time you win at mission 20. Platinum was the highest level of reward at around 130ish kills. You keep getting bonus tanks every 5 missions and you will need them once you get up to mission 80 or so... I think the tanks are on roids! Does anyone out there in cyberspace know if there is anything beyond 540 kills?
