It's best to do it muti-player because you get up to higher levels but if you just keep doing it you will get the platinum medal

my record is getting up to level 14 destroying 48 tanks so I know nothing about 21 - 100

I got 83 tanks which means 1 more and I get a gold metal, It's so frusterating.

I think it's 130 tanks for platinum.

Also, there are more than 20 levels. My dad got to level 30.

Hints for Lv. 17 (the one with 6 double richoce tanks). You go around and kill the tank in the middle. The 2 tanks on either side can be killed by richocing bullets off the walls. The one at thetop right can be killed if you blow up the wall where you start at. Then richoce the bullets off the walls. The last 2 tanks in the corners are pretty easy. Go up and set a mine near the right corner. Posistion your tank diagnolly across from the mine on the opposite side. Wait for it to blow up and shoot at the tank. Do the same on the other side. I hope this helps.

One more comment. Yes the double richoce rocket tanks are hard, but so are the invisible rocket tanks.

you have to beat the game 5 times befor you can go on to new boards. I have killed 247 tanks as my high so far. W ait untill you get to the black tanks.

Actually, after you beat level 20, you get the gold medal. then next time you play, the game allows you TO GO BEYOND level 20. Just to prove it, go to youtube.com, and search mission 100 tanks. there are a few people who have beat wii tanks-on mission 100. personally, i have only gotten up to mission 35, with 164 tanks.

P.S. the lime green tanks and the purple tanks are the hardest ones for me!!!

The lime green tanks can be tricky because they shot those fast moving flaming missles which rebound twice before they stop. However, on level 16 where the lime green tanks first appear you should be able to take them all out without getting killed nearly every time if you know what you are doing. The trick is to learn where they cannot hit you and hang there except when you want to move into position to take them out with a rebound shot. After shooting quickly retreat to where they cannot hit you and you'll almost always beat them. I have at least a 99% success ratio on level 16 and can teach anyone with moderate skills to take out all the lime green tanks on level 16 nearly every time.

The purple tanks are fairly easy to beat especially if you shoot them with rebound shots from behind a bearer. But if you've got two of them coming at you from opposite directions you can get taken out. The invisible tanks are tougher than than purple tanks because they have all their abilities plus they are are tougher to follow because you have to look for their tracks, mines, or bullets to figure out where they are.

The toughest tanks are the black tanks that firat appear on level 50. They shot the same fast moving flamong missles as the level 5 tanks and lime green tanks but at least they don't rebound so as long as you can stay behind cover and shot rebounding shots at them you'll take them out most of the time. When that isn't possible of practical like on level 50 (no real cover same battlefield as level 5) you have to be very good at dodging and shooting their missles before they hit you to survive. I sometimes get killed once or even twice on level 50 by those black tanks but probably 60 to 65% of the time I take them both out without being killed. The blue tank rules when the Doctor is operating the controls!

Besides, I've beat the game at level 20. There were no invisible tanks.
