I did some lighting, erasing, bluring, clipping masks, etc to it. I personally like the outcome, but the border looks albit weird

I was going to use that stock, Actually im gonna use it for banner and if it comes out better then my first entry, I'll use that.

I think its because you have a 2-3px border for the top and bottom, while a 1px to the sides. If you get rid of those, it looks better. Kind of like widescreen.

1) Zeta - I like the effects on the sign, although the blood splatters are too pink, and I like how the background is out of focus.

2) Lyonnais - It's hard to see where the majority of your work went, but it fits the description of promotional work more than the other two.

3) Linkin Park Fan - I don't understand why you or The Pursuit didn't add typography to your entries. Sure it's rather obvious which movie they represent, but they look more like movie stills than promotional work.

4) The Pursuit - Same as above. The touch-ups are nice, but it doesn't look much like promotional material.

For example; if I saw LPF's and The Pursuit's banners and hadn't seen any previous advertising for the products I wouldn't have any idea how to find out more about them

They weren't marketing campaigns; you had one image to promote your advert. More importantly, from a design standpoint they were a bit wanting.
