Now i've thought this through, when it comes out there will be multiple servers...so i thought about this, why don't we all choose a common server, and we can tell people we know to join this realm, it would be kinda cool imo. So, what are your thoughts about joining the same "realm" or whatever they dub it.

You mean, everyone on Neo trying to get on the same server? Yeah, that's a pretty cool idea. I had that idea on the back-burner, was going to wait for the release to get a bit closer.

Although, we'd have to choose multiple servers since you can't get on another country's set of servers (I believe), and we have a fair amount of people from Europe here.

Also, would we want one for Order, and one for Destruction? Maybe not. It'd be fun to kill fellow seekers, too, haha.

Aye you could arrange an area in PvP territory and do a 'Neoseeker Member Massacre brawl' hehe.

I'm one of those in Europe, but should the other Europe seekers like this idea, I'd be up for it. I'm going Destruction though.

yeah good idea. in fact, we should have Neo guilds going on as well. one for NA, one for Europe (unless we can all get on the same server which is doubtful). though we'd have to pick between Order and Destruction, or else create 1 for each. though id like to have all Seekers on the same side, but whatever.

I tried something like this for LotRO but no dice (lack of people). If there's enough interest for WAR I'd be willing to help set up an "official" Neoseeker WAR guild. Another neostaff, huntyr will be playing WAR as well. I believe I might even get Redemption to play too but don't count too much on that one

Anyways, as I said, if enough people are interested something could be put together. Perhaps a guild subforum here and even a WAR neoportal as well.

Chances are the realm I will be playing will be the one my friends pick as well. If someone picks a WAR realm for neo I'll steer them in that direction tho.

Of course, I'm going destruction as well.

we should have enough Seekers. i played LOTRO, and it was just as weak sauce as WOW, IMO.

WAR on the other hand looks like its going to be totally epic.

LORTO was always going to be bad... it was trying to be graphically stunning and failed at that, since MMORPGs are just naturally not the graphical beasts that say FPSs and Driving games are. WoW is pretty weak but casually playable, not many MMORPGs are on the other hand...

but anyway, when it comes to Realms, we will also need to see how they are split, I think it will probably be split by location, else you will have in PvP, people with say a ping of 30ms against people with a ping of say 300ms... so likely they will use several datacenters for their servers around the world...

do you think choosing a server will be forced, according to whichever server you are geographically closest to?

I hope not, as I'm going to be moving a few times within the next couple of years.

I dunno to be honest, I'd prefer a system were you are infact not server bound and do not have to pay to shift characters around... but meh, I really can not wait for this game to actually come on and find out =P.

ok well we still have to wait a while before it comes out, so hold that thought.
