Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this game, the style of the game as well as the combat looks like pure gold! That, and I like Warhammer quite a bit, and though I'm generally a player of the 40k variety I DO have a Skaven army lying around

Greetings fellow forum dwellers, I am the Omega, former WoW player and moderator. I have yet to decide on getting this game or not, and I'm not going to know until after the game is released and I can read a bunch of reviews and info on it. I am a casual gamer which really doesn't work for WoW since the best content requires you being very active in big guilds, which I wanted no part of. I liked the PvP in WoW though and Dine mentioned this game to me last year, and it's always been on the back of my mind. It really depends on if it enables me to play it casually and still be successful, and I'm sure it'll be fun with the PvP format. Hopefully the monthly cost won't be much worse than WoW's.

I have yet to play a Warhammer game so I don't know the lore at all other than from what I've seen from the video previews for this online game.

Hi there! I'm new to online RPG's and played DAOC for a little while, I also have a strong passion for hating WOW, but thats got nothing to do with it, May be tempted to play this seeing as my lover has already ordered the collectors edition of the game.
Just been checking out the forum to see what the news is!

If your lover plays it then get in some game time and play with them. You know that anyone who orders the collectors edition is serious about the game and you may not get much out of game contact for a while

believe me, i know what i am in for. My lover is one hardcore gamer. His preist was one of the best in the server on WoW (so much that someone hacked it trying to steal it) ¬¬ He stayed up playing 48 hours afew times which makes me cringe.
Thing is, we have a baby now, and he works hard, so he will only be able to play this in his spare time.
