Switching back a sec, the Male Sorcerors thing is fine, as thats just Malekith's ego anyways, much like Chariots from an earlier edition where they said he had decreed only he may have one.

Basically they have existed in the past, I think I still have a model somewheres, and I believe fluff wise they are still about, just hidden away. Now had they asked permission for male Witch Elves I'd be walking away.

completely agree with you there mate. Witch Elves are the domain of females only. however, sorcery should be made available to both. although its not quite with lore it would be more beneficial to the game as most people will get turned away from Dark Elves if they can only play females.

Maybe that's not such a bad thing, though, haha. The Black Guard has enough coolness-factor to make up for two all-female classes.

I don't believe that they should be if I am remembering fluff correct, just no female figures have ever been done for them before in the game. Of course thats the same all over the place, according to fluff they should have done a female figure for pretty much every unit in all the Elven armies, but for whatever reason they haven't.

Just pondering as if a female Black Guard is available I'll probably give one of those a go as well.

That is one of the things that people all over have been pondering. Personally, I hope they just throw the female Black Guards in, considering they're probably going to throw in male Sorcerers.

i think you can have female Black guards. you can certainly have female warriors in the table game so i dont see why Black Guard is any different. but i also have never seen a model of a female so you never know i guess.

Aye this is what I was thinking, basically it won't surprise me if the BlackGuard are all male as there are no female figures. Although fluff says females can be there, so I hope that they are allowed as it would certainly make me play a Blackguard.

Of course WaR's male models might actually look half decent, half of the reason that all but one of my 15 WoW characters are female avatars are the fact the males look plumb awful most of the time, especially the Orcs, Trolls, Dwarves and Night Elves.
