This was going to his year of retribution. He was the only top 10 scorer who didn't go to the All-Star Game, which is ridiculous(Arenas made it in, but they did him wrong too, the No. 4 scorer should be an automatic lock, but that's another story). Before the NY fight, he was doing something Lebron nor Wade has yet to do - lead the league in scoring. He would've been a shoe in for the ASG, but now he's sittin and Arenas is a threat to take the title.
Man, what a time to mess things up. Hopefully he'll learn to keep his cool when he comes back.

Carmelo Anthony really isn't all that great, I am shocked he even graced the cover of NBA Street Homecourt. I mean he isn't a bad player, I just don't know why Wade wouldn't be the cover boy instead.

Street V3's cover was Baron Davis....So I think image-wise EA is trying to step things up from last time, speaking in terms of starpower.Wade would've asked for a ridiculous amount of money, like Jordan did back in the day. Melo is a certified superstar and in terms of bang for the buck, is the best young superstar they could get with the biggest name. No way would Lebron or Wade do this game's cover, and Chris Paul is affordable and certainly skilled but doesn't have the name recognition Melo already has. I'm a much bigger fan of Arenas. Much more personality, more drive, less of a team around him and has earned all his acclaim and notoriety. Plus he was undrafted if I remember it right. To me he's better than Carmelo in every way, and actually acts his age to go with it.

Carmelo is 22 and Arenas is 25, so maybe with age Carmelo can mature a little bit. Getting involved in that fight earlier in the season wasn't very mature for a professional sports figure.
