Processor requirements

Hi all

I have just been informed, by Ubisoft support, that my Intel P4 3.0 Ghz processor will be unable to run Assassin's Creed!

Is this true?

I have found that most dual core processors are slower than mine.

because, your sing-core processor might be able to handle each individual process just fine, but without the second core it just might not be able to handle running all the processes required at the same time, as an example, you might be able to put a two inch ball through a three inch hole without any problems, but if you have two balls, it's impossible to have them both come out at the same time going through the three inch hole.

re: Processor requirements

You don't necessarily need a dual core to run it, as long as your processor is fast enough, though you may need to turn some of the graphics down a bit. I'm hoping my computer will run it, (there's no demo to try it out so I'm a bit peeved and hoping I won't be laden with a game I can't play, because that will be annoying).
