I just beat Assassin's Creed for the first time, and i must say the ending totally SUCKED! I really wanted to be able to find a pen or something and attach it to my arm and slaughter the doctor. Lucy too and then escape and be chased by the military and have 1 or 2 levels of suburban assassin-ing.

The ending was personally my favourite part of the entire game! It made the repetition of the second half much more worth it, I'd say. It's obviously more beneficial if you unlocked most of the clues for the final scene, so you can explore and uncover some of the truth. Otherwise you're stuck with a bed.
