Wow, I'm pissed. Why might you ask? Because The Knights of Nine retail expansion is a ripoff.

I inserted the disk, installed all the little bonus expansion packs, and was very satisfied until I discovered the Mehrunes Razor, Vile Lair, and Knights of the Nine questline fail to *bleep*ing update.

Upon entering the game on my character, I recieved the little popup quest starters for all the bonus expansion EXCEPT Mehrunes Razor and Vile Lair. Mildly pissed off at this point I venture on thinking I can at least start the KotN questline. Oh, but whats this? NO ONE talking about the 'Rumor' I am supposedly supposed to hear.

Furthermore, I have tried just about everything to get these 3 expansions to work: uninstalled/reinstalled in just about every order known to man, searched the entirety of internet, and load-back multiple times. And yet, still no quest starters.

I have arrived at a few solutions as to why I haven't been able to play these expansion packs.

1)I haven't started the main questline.
OR
2)Oblivion hates my *bleep*ing guts.

Worked fine for my brother. I don't see why. Any help would be great. I'm done with Oblivion otherwise.

Make sure the Data Files are checked before you go into the game. Sometimes they don't get checked by default.

The Knights of the nine expansion doesn't come with Merune's Razor or the Vile Lair ect, And i think you have to download the other Plugin-ins.

Sorry, but you are mistaken. You are probably thinking of the GOTY version. The actual Knights of the Nine retail CD had all of the DLC included on it. (I know for certain, because I own it.)

I just wanted to clarify it for you.
