requesting info

-Hello every one I have a simple question regarding the patch KOT9.
I bought it but don’t know how to install it.
-Is it composed of several files that I need to install separately? (Example: I install wizards tower and then install thieves din etc…)
-It's been a while since I finished the original game and I lost my save files (long story) so I have to play the game again to play the expansion?
-Are there any other updates that I should acquire?
Thanks in advance for your help

re: requesting info

You only need to install the Knights of the Nine esp file to play that particular quest. The other esp files (Orrery, Vile Lair, etc.) are all independent items/quests that have nothing to do with Knights of the Nine. Any of them can be played independently of any other.

As for installation, you only need install the esp file into your Oblivion Data folder (automatic if using the CD) and then activate the file under Data Files once you start up the game (click on the box next to the name). For Knights of the Nine itself, the quest begins in Anvil. Talk to people and they will tell you about the Anvil chapel being attacked and a prophet yelling in front of the Chapel.

No other updates are required except the 1.1 patch (which is included on the CD). If you have already patched or have installed Shivering Isles, then you are all set.

Hope this information helps.

re: requesting info

Thanks for the reply it helped a bit, but I still can't apply the update 1.1 since I bought the game through a download, and all the patches I have seen only work on the DVD version of the game, can any one tell me how to successfully install update 1.1?
Thanks in advance

Oh, so you got the game from direct2drive? I'm afraid I have no idea how to patch it then. Can anyone else help with this one?

re: requesting info

you can patch it and download a patched no-cd crack im not sure if you commit piracy by doing that or anything but if you got the game legally then it shouldn't be a problem
