	Ive just bought WOW but im stuck on which characters to use. I want 1 melee either Paladin or Rogue, and one ranged either mage or warlock. if any one could give me some advice about which is better for leveling, PVP, PVE, Instances etc ... all advice is welcome.

	Having a 66 pala myself I'd go with Rogue. There is a lot of stigma attached to pala's and many see them as the weakest class (even after recent improvements from blizzard). I'd go with a mage as well because I have a warlock and got bored of it very quickly. Mage has better PVE crowd control with polymorph. 	thanks for the tips, ive played my brothers paladin, and i like the idea of bubble and plate armor, but i guess at higher lvls he lacks power ... as for the mage and lock, i wanted full out dps with the lock in destruction, or a mix of frost and arcane mage, but having read a lot of articles mage sems the way forward

Locks fear just tends to pull more mobs. do you srsly need to fear when your leveling? the only time you really need it is if you pull more then 2 mobs. warlock is easy leveling compared to a mage, you never have to drink.

	Well mages have more powerful attack especially fire. Warlocks r kinda slow at killing because most of the attacks r dots. I would say in power would be the mage. -------------------

	warlocks are very good for BG's/arena they also are the top dmg in raids. FS/destro is tree to go when raiding and is very effective. not only do u spam shadowbolt like a mage would fireball/frostbolt but u also have dots to go with and u never run out of mana. btw, theres nothing wrong with being a ret pally, just dont expect to do as well as ppl your lvl/gear. ret pallys and enhance shamans have the lowest dps for melee. i think since the new patch paladins do more than enh shammys now. ------------------- i love my hybrids(classes) 70 shaman, druid, hunter
