Just got back from a long retirement and forgot most of the things...

For DPS what gear and stats should i get?

I'm kinda noticin that im being hit very hard in instances...maybe something wrong maybe not.

Atm doin Kara and Gruul (all finished)

Regardless if you pvp or pve, BM is the best way to go. You let your pet do all the work while you worry about aggro-control and doing ranged damaged. Find the best dps bow you can. Make sure all of your armor is STM / Agil. Usually "of the monkey" armor will suffice.
I have 5 talent points in concussion shot and the rest in BM. I do quite well in pvp and BG's. Usually I can hold my own against much higher enemies.Traps are great if used correctly. I also recieve alot of 'attention ' from the horde. They love me
Some people claim to have success in marksmanship but I prefer BM FTW !

the best build for pvp has to be a Marksman Hybrid

i cant tell you how much i own with those talents, due to the fact you would die from shock .

now as for armour and stats?

The three main hunter stats are Agility, Stamina, and Intellect.
Agility for power and crits.
Stamina for health.
Intellect for Mana.

Also, avoid strength at all costs. Contrary to popular beleif strength cuts crits for hunters.

i'll stick to mine if its all the same to you. I've been destroying horde.

is AP good?

Attack Power is key for a end game hunter. Agility is your friend. If your going to pvp Stamina is what you should look for.
