i recently downloaded a map add-on (the one that makes coordinates appear) but how do i apply the add-on to the game?

i downloaded cartographer, btw.

Somewhere in the download there should be a folder called "Cartographer" or something, or maybe even multiple folders. Each should have a couple files in it, maybe another folder. You need to put these in "World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns". If that directory doesn't exist, make it. Then in-game at the character selection screen there should be a button that says AddOns in the lower left corner. Click it, check "Enable Outdated AddOns" if the name is in red, and check all of the boxes.

It says all of this in a sticky at the top of the forum, if you have more questions.

I also have a question about add ons. I'm trying to update my Atlas loot add on to the latest version(for ZA loot), how do I do it?

You just need to overwrite the old files with the new ones, unless the mod says otherwise.
