hey im wondering which of the current classes/race is the best because i making a new character and i want him to be very balanced and perferably not a druid. also PM me if you wanna know which sever and character i play on.

the whole "best calls/race" question has haunted eavryone for years. but in throuth, their is no best class or race. you just pick witch one you want to be.


for example, i enjoy playing as a troll shamen, becuse i can heal myself and others, cause massive damage, and rezurect pepole.

but others might preffer to play a night elf rouge, to add the night elf raicial (turning invisible) to the rouges allready sneeky ways.

others may choose a tauren warrior, becuse the beefy apearence of a tauren, pluce the warstomp abillity, make a great looking warrior.

well how about this.

Don't rogues have problems against warriors? Plate armor, high damage, disabling abilities, and constant overpowers?

It's all about personal preference. There isn't really a best class/race in the game. My favorite are Tauren Shamans.

Tbh Being a Rogue myself I find it difficult to kill awesome geared warriors and some druids, but paladins arent that big o' deal, just that annoying bubble heal, that prolonges the inevitable death of the pally.

the best class/race question only haunts idiots and some noobs who have never played an rpg before.

( Mages require several locks for curse of elements (increases a mages damage) to do good dps)
But its generally hunters and destruction locks that top the charts.

for pvp, every class has their uses and work with other specific classes well.
Druids can work with almost anything in 2v2 and are a high rated 2v2 class, while classes like mages, paladins, and shamans, are much more limited in their 2v2 options, but excel in other sized arenas such as 5v5.

Now for races...
Look at a races racials and think how that would help you.
Some racials are only good for PVE and others only for PVP, Decide what you want your main focus to be and choose around that

no duh my main is a warlock.
but i want the most balanced not the best but i named this thread this name so people would reply.

If you want a balanced class then I assume you want a class that can do alot? If so, then roll a druid or paladin. You could tank, dps, or heal. Those are the only two classes that can do all three, I believe.

all classes are relatively balanced, thats a pretty dumb question to ask.

when it come so raid dps, you got 2 different types of dmg, short burst or long 'snowballing' dmg as i call it. locks are excellent at snowballing dmg, their dots get their entire duration, their curses and stacking dmg make them ideal for long fights. warriors and rogues are good for long fights as well, without worrying about mana, they can keep up constant dmg during the whole fight.

then there are the short burst dps, my elem shaman rarely gets beat on trash. shamans can dish out high dmg right away without worrying about debuffs first, but this also makes it so during long boss fights they can keep up with locks and mages.

those are the 2 different types of dmg in raiding, dps classes can pretty much be split in these 2 groups. and of course there are aoe pulls and thats obvious a lock and mage thing, hell even a fury warrior.

but other than that, the difference between races are so minimal that they can be pushed aside. go with what you like.

well I guess il roll with a paldin for now untill death knight or bard comes out.

Rogues are cowards and take no skill to play as.
