	I figure the most basic marks have a universally defined meaning, such as SKULL, CROSS, SQUARE and MOON - or do they? To you, what do the following marks mean to you, or how are they usually used by others on your server? Skull - Cross (X) - Square - Moon - Star - Diamond - Triangle - Circle -

	when i tank Skull - kill first X - kill second star - kill third square - trap/sheep moon - sheep diamond - sap/banish/seduce triangle - sleep/other half my guilds call circle condom, other half call it nipple. triangle is thong, diamond is v... well you know. honestly tho, i just call it by its actual shape ------------------- i love my hybrids(classes) 70 shaman, druid, hunter

	well its different in 5 mans then in raids.. in 5 mans Skull - kill first X - kill second star - SAP square - ICE TRAP moon - sheep diamond - sap/banish/seduce triangle - sleep/other in raids... everything gets marked, and as many monsters get sheeped as u have mages... thats pretty much it in high-end raiding.

	I'm mostly interested in how people identify certain symbols to have very basic universal meanings, even without actually thinking about it. Subconsciously we are all aware that the moon represents transformation, star resembling knock-out stars from cartoons, skull to death, and diamond to void. All of these symbols most often represent the CC spells and abilities used by their corresponding classes. I find this very interesting. For me, star represents the light or religion, and therefor associate it with shackle undead CC effect.
