To get from Teldrassil to Stormwind you have to:

1. Go through the portal in Darnassus and you will be in a little village place.

2. Take the boat/hippogriph from there to Darkshore.

3. Then take the boat from Darkshore to Menethil Harbour, you will be in Wetlands now.

4. Follow the path/signs to Loch Modan (expect to die a few times as there will be "??" level creatures near the paths).

5. From Loch Modan follow the path/signs to Dun Morogh (should be able to kill most creatures?).

6. Go to Ironforge and there will be one area in it called Tinker Town, from there take the Deeprun Tram to The Dwarven District in Stormwind.

P.S: At the Deeprun Tram actually wait for the tram 'cause the first time I went there the tram wasn't at the station so I ran to Stormwind

P.P.S: this guide was written for a level 10 so may not apply to other levels

For your faction just go with whatever you want really, and for leveling it really depends on what class you are leveling. If you plan on leveling up your hunter definitely level Beast Mastery.
