but it might be a fun idea to play a different class on the alliance than a warlock (not sure if you were planning on it, i just got the impression that you were from your post) because you already have a warlock and playing a warlock again will most likely be a similar experience so maybe try a melee class such as rogue, warrior, or hunter, or play as a healer like a priest or a druid, just so your able to experience the different type of play that each class has to offer.

in mmorpgs my favorite class to play is a healing class, but it is usually quite a bit of work and sometimes a little bit more looking at the health bars rather than the action going on.

but the kind of character you like to play seriously depends on how your personality is, so take that into account as well, such as a reserved non-confrontational person would be a good healer/support while a aggresive person would be good dps and i guess that tank would be somewhat of a protective personality.

If you want to play a gnome, a rogue would be a very good option. (especially since you already have a caster, a melee class will give you a whole new style of gameplay)
I recently started a gnome rogue alt and i gotta say its pretty damn fun.
Plus theyre great in PvP due to their racials and size.
