Rogue Spec. |
|
Hello,
I recently got my Rogue to level 60 and i was wondering, what is a good spec to level as, i've been leveling as a Sub rogue but i'm not sure if i should keep leveling as that, everyone seems to be Combat or Assin Rogue, and i was wondering if anyone here could tell me the best spec to go and where to put the points... - Jim. If you don't believe me go to the Armory on the Euro wow website and in the search put my Rogues name in which is 'Jg' from The Sha'tar realm -------------------

Sub spec is incredibly easy to level with, though when you near endgame, Combat swords is ideal as swords will get extremely powerful and PvP will become more important.

You should NOT be leveling as Sub spec, thats a bad idea. You should be leveling as Combat swords, as it is vastly superior.

Yeah, Sub is the worst to level with. Combat swords is the way to go. Sub is mainly used to BGs and whatnot.

Combat swords is mind numbing, but it works. Mutilate is decent around your level, dunno how much the recent nerf would've changed things though. Sub can level fine as well as being able to defend itself very well in pvp should you happen to be on a pvp server or want to do a battleground every so often.

It depends on what kind of weapons you have. If you have decent swords, then go Combat spec. Make sure to get the appropriate talents for leveling though.

I am lvling a rogue ATm, Im lvling him Combat spec, with 2 daggers in hand, for Backstab and what not, not really into swords, rogues seem like they need o be really fast in attacking and swords seem slow for a rogue.
Anyways to get to the point, i think combat would be great, although im not a high lvl seems to be working good. ------------------- You call the fake inplants BOOBS!, Those arent BOOBS!, Theyer LIES!

Combat daggers? hmm... And backstab requires so much positioning especially when leveling. You don't want that to be happening because it takes so much time and effore just to get behind the mob. If you want daggers, just go assassination. It's better that way.

quote 4sakenQFT. With Assassination you have greater control over mobs, letting you Mutilate easier. Leveling as Combat Daggers has got to be the most aggravating spec ever, always waiting for Gouge or KS just so you can deliver the most damage possible. I'll always say Combat Swords/Maces/Fists/Whatever will be the superior leveling spec because of skills like Adren Rush and Blade Flurry. Pop all your cooldowns and it should bail you out in any situation. ------------------- Knowledge is power.

Well, If your too lazy to do backstab, then just use swords.
