Keybinds |
|
Just looking for some info on keybinds...
I've been a clicker since the start of WoW. Since I got to 80 on my mage late last year I started to dabble with keybinds but being a mage I generally stand still and spam scorch/livingbomb/fireball, and I have my CDs, Pots and Mana gems keybinded to Q/W/E/R/T but thats about it, I don't PvP much so never saw much point in modifying it further. I'm now levelling a DK and realising, apart from questing, clicking doesn't work with a DK as you have to be constantly on the move so seen as there is a lot of QQ about keybinding here, I thought it'd be the perfect place for advice. So any tips or suggestions are welcome. Thanks! -------------------

1. Download the Dominos add-on.
2. Shift-Left Click the icon to set keybinds. 3. Get used to, and then enjoy said keybinds. ------------------- I'm An Asshole And I'm Proud Of It

You don't even need an add-on for keybinds.

Necros stated that the add-on Dominos makes the process of keybinds much less of a pain in the ass.

OKAY HERES HOW YOU MAKE A KEYBIND WITHOUT AN ADD-ON.
1.) You click the game menu. 2.) You go to keybinds. 3.) You find where you want to place your keybinds. 4.) You set your keybinds. -------------------

quote ZachmanHere's with Dominos. 1. Shift Left-click the icon. 2. Hover above a slot and press a button. Two steps easier than your method. ------------------- I'm An Asshole And I'm Proud Of It

Keybinds seem really awkward at first but after about a week or two you will notice its much better. Faster and you even seem to enjoy the game more as your not moving around a mouse to click a button every time to attack.

Thanks for your replies.
Just swapped out Bartender for Dominos and it is a hell of a lot easier to set key binds, rather than using the default WoW interface. Just playing about with my DK's key binds now and noticing it is more fluid, but have confused myself a few times haha. -------------------
