I've seen a lot of people using them, and was wondering if they are okay to use? I know Blizzard was banning people back in Diablo 2 for using them, but if they are okay, what is a good one and where can I get it?

Only thing I can think of you meaning with the Diablo 2 comment would be maphack. Not really the same thing. WoW supports a large variety of mods to improve the game. Try visiting a site like curse.com and browsing them.
