Arena!? |
|
Well I'm a complete PvP noob and I get my ass handed to me when ever I try with my hunter so I want to re-roll a new class and use him for just PvP when it gets to 80 so I'm looking for advise. What is a good class for a PvP novice?
I was thinking a either a Death Knight cause they start at 55 or a paladin cause I already have a level 40 paladin but I'll go with anything you guys recommend. Cheers for the tips ------------------- ![]()

Don't play a class only because it starts at 55. And you get owned in pvp I am guessing because you don't line of sight, use resilence, or whatever else pvpers do

Well like I said I'm shite at PvP but picking a class that is already well on it's way 80 is a factor in picking a class cause I want to get to 80 as soon as I can. That said I'm willing to roll anything that will be fun at level 80 PvP

Personally I love playing my Ele Shammy in PvP but it can get tricky at times being a caster. I'm currently leveling a Rogue through BG's and getting boosts through dungeons every few levels for some gear upgrades and I'm finding it to be loads of fun and would recommend a Rogue.
If you cant stand the whole Rogue setup then make a Druid, You get some of the Rogue things with bonuses like HOT's.

It all depends and how you like to play PvP. If you want to have high survivability go for a Pally, or a DK, or even a frost mage, a good frost mage won't get hit once in a fight against melee opponents. I personally play my Warlock for PvP, I play affliction, so my game style is more about draining and outlasting my opponent, I don't do very well in 2v2's however seeing as my spec has very few "panic buttons". However in BGs and 5v5's I do very well. But yeah, also don't throw the idea of being a healer in PvP out of the window, healers are very useful in PvP.

Frost Mage seems as if it would have a high learning curve though, so that might be out of the window.
Death Knight or Pally, for the most part, your can faceroll yourself through a BG. And so on. I'd say pick between caster/melee or a healer first, and then go from there. Worst come, roll a druid. they do it all. -------------------

Rogues are about the most over-powered class for PVP.I'm not sure about diffficulty for playing but rogues are so powerful they can wipe you out before you notice them.

Rogues are pretty easy to play, provided you know what stuns apply to what situations, you can pretty much faceroll people to death.

Personally I prefer the palladins because of the retribution skill tree. If I get hit then you also take some damage too. That damage plus what I deal out in the first place makes it hard to beat me.
