I just got this game, never played the OB, but I think I've done fairly fell so far. I have a great bow for my level(16), have a great pet, good armor, and can level a few levels quite fast. However, recently as I moved to Darkshore I've found people don't like me to much, they're not all rude, but many will ask me to leave cause I'm disrupting their xping. I ask why? They simply say "Cause farmers ruin the game."....

...I'm not farming though, and I try to explain and they say I'm lying. I don't wanna be rude and say screw off and get a bad rep with other players, but on the other hand I could have easily been lvl 20 by now if it wasn't for people asking me to leave the area. Their excuse's are usually one of the following:

1. Cause you have a pet you kill to much and ruin it for others.
2. Somehow I'm farming for "IGE" or whatever it is, which I'm not.
3. I'm bothering them cause I might steal their target and turn it into a pet.... even though I've had the same pet since level 10.

...whats a night elf hunter to do??? I talked with a friend(dwarf hunter) and he said just go to the actual beach on Darkshore and take crabs and such, only problem with that is I'm a skinner/leatherworker and it's nice killing bears and tigers... not to mention my pet likes their meat more. Someone please give me some advice.

You're just on a bad server. This doesn't happen on any of the servers that I've been on, and been a hunter; a Night Elf Hunter, at that.

I don't know a way to resolve this, except to ignore the people. They can't report you for killing the things. You need experience too. You should just find a really out-of-the-way spot and start killing there regularly.

Laugh at them for their ignorance and carry on whilst stating "B-Net Kiddies". It always pisses B-Net Kiddies off when you call them B-Net Kiddies.

But seriously, you must be on a pretty anal server to have people complaining like that. And anyways, I would not worry about getting a bad reputation, because it seems like they already had it out for you merely because you are a Hunter — and in such a case, you really shouldn't care what people like that think. But if you truly do want to preserve your reputation, just ignore them. Speak as though you do not know English — or, don't speak at all.

I've been talking with my dwarven friend, he's convinced me to leave the nice light leather behind and start killing crabs. I actually like my server, it's nice and large, but the people who were doing this were from mostly the same guild. Oh well. Thanks tho.

There is people like that in the world, if they continue to harass you then simply report them and when there is enough complaints then CS will start banning the troublesome ones and they will get the message then, I am a Paladin and as far as hunters on my server I will be killing (solo) and out of nowhere a Night elf hunter speed butrs in and finish the kill I dont mind because it helps me though some people may take that wrong as steeling there kill, I actually find an area where there is night elfs and try to stay close when I am lvling because they are powerfull and can help you out if you get into trouble. If some one talks trash to me on my server I just ignore them and go about lvling up because honeslty they are just out to ruin every ones game time.

Dude there are so many people who will just give you crap for your class. IM a rogue and you have no idea on how many people wine and complain and say (quote "YOUR ASS NEEDS TO GET NERFED") lol. but dont report them because to be honest its pointless especially for harrasment. ITS takes a TON OF REPORTS just to get the person a slap on the wrist. But if people bug you then just keep hunting the placeout more and tell them to deal with it. Darkshore is a free country as far as im concerned lol.

Also anyone who says hunters kill to fast and are gold farmers are most likely stupid, most gold farmers (that I've experienced) play either rouges or mages, which can drop something must faster than any hunter. And you shouldn't worry about not finding groups for instances, I'm a 60 Hunter and people ask me to raids all the time, so just ignore these morons, or if you really want to freak out the people who call you a farmer start spamming them with stuff like "how much you want buy gold american dollar!!!!!??????!?!?", always fun .

Rogues can kill quickly and keep killing quickly. Their energy regenerates very quickly - I've never had to wait for it to regen...

If you ARE desperate for it to regen fast, just get some Thistle Tea down ya.
