I am really computer stupid, and I was wondering if this game will work with dial-up. I know that if id did work, it would really suck, but I was just wondering

Yeah it'll work with a dial-up connection, but the connection would be horrible. It lags bad enough with cable internet

do you also have to subscribe to a server, where you have to pay money for that too?

15 bucks a month basic, and minor discounts if you buy in bulk, like 3 or 6 month deals. i woundnt buy the game using a dialup. previous comp was a athlon xp 3200/512mb pc2700 running off a 9mbps cable line and going into major cities or high detailed areas, id have to wait for things to load, then players twas a pain in my ass. but new comp works like a charm. 64 3500/1gig pc3200
