After the trial for my original account went out, I wanted to create a new account to play on. But when I click the create account buton on the account creation page (and after clicking I agree), it tells me I have to enter a valid authentication key, but I don't have the game so I don't have one.

Does this mean I can't do a DAMN thing on WoW until I buy the game & extend my membership on my account?

Well it's quite pointless to make an account when you don't have the game. After you get the game you'll be able to make an account just fine.

A trail is something that you're only suppose to have once. If you like the game, you'll have to purchase it to play more.

that or beg evryone you know into giveing you their free trial disks

why is it you need to buy it before you can create an account again? how much did it cost? and may i know what is the best character shud i use? coz i' only starting at wow and i don't have a background of it! maybe you guys can help me.. plss. help// thank..

If you're just getting into WoW now, I suggest not starting a character until the WoW expansion starts. I have TBC beta, and I have to tell you, Draenei and Blood Elves are much more detailed, have much better low-level grinding zones, and are over-all prettier and have fancier starting areas.

But I've gotta tell you. Play in moderation. I was passing English last year, when just before the end of the term I got back in WoW. I slept through the exams and failed most of the end-year tests and assignments. Had to repeat the entire class. To think I could have been a graduate right now, but I still have to go back to classes while my friends go off to college.

But on the plus side, they dont have a fully end-game geared priest, do they?

And I've got to tell you the EXACT OPPOSITE and start up a money machine character right now that has two money making professions, and by the time the expansion comes out you can make a new BE or Draenei and start them off with money, bags, items, whatever you can get for them by the time BC comes out. Save the class that you want to use as a main for when BC comes out and just try other classes now for your money makers.

I agree with your rage! How dare you have to 'buy the game' and 'subscribe to it' to play it like the rest of us!
