Actually I just wanted a discussion of those who got annoyed when the hunters do the jump shoot thing

What are you trying to discuss? You're whining about losing a fight instead of allowing us to discuss the issue and what your class can do to beat hunters.

i can only say this. lvl up and try to get some better gear. with luck he will be to busy dueling other pepole to lvl up himelf at all. when your lvl 23+ or so you shuld be able to outmatch him. and dont forget to use that invisiblility skill. its the worst enemy of all non-humans (seeing as their raicial skill lets them see invisible units)

Hahaha, I think he'd rather know how to beat a hunter at his own level rather than unfairly fighting him multiple levels up I can't recall if hunters can target humanoids while they're stealthed usiing their find humanoid skill, but I think they can and then can put a target on you right away (which is a pain in the ass). What I used to do when they found me was to ignore their pet and even if they have the slow shot on you, use sprint to charge them before they can get to keep their distance. It's easier to fight other classes as a rogue when you level up more and get the better rogue skills and talents for PvP.

That was going to be my suggestion but I was under the impression that he was still under the level needed to be able to use it

After reading all these posts I have one thing to say. We hunters own the world of warcraft don't try and stop us, were too damn good. Okay I'm just joking. If you wanna kill get close and slow him down before he gets away. Hunters can't melee down any class, so the closer you are the better.

I think it wasn't so much the hunter was using a "n00b" tactic but in fact...

YOU ARE THE N00B HERE!

First, The hunters track humanoids skill does not track invisible targets (track hidden does),and how does a rogue NOT kill a hunter i mean did u just stand there or something and try to kill the pet (bad idea) Pets have normally about 1/3 more health than the hunter himself but hit low, and if his stuff is stronger than yours you have a high chance of losing, but being a hunter get close (Unless he's using 2-Handed Axes or any 2 handed weps,( unstealthed that is), Im not too familiar with rogues but with your proffessions cant u use talent points to get a ability that will stun your target when you ambush him.if he does wingclip you keep on him by any means possible because chances are when your wing clipped he's desperate and running away so if you can stay on him while hes running he wont be able to attack you unless you go too fast and get infront of him, keep an eye on your rage or what ever you have and keep using specs or whatever your can, and BTW learn where your An's and a's go and where there should be a were or was, would make some of your opening statements more understandable, and when you say u jsut made this topic to see all the people who get mad thats just an excuse because u got told my friends do it all the time.

So the hunter could be twinked, which it probably is, and good luck beating him if you're not twinked and the same level.... i mean, he has all the enchants making him tonnes better than you, and with the Clefthoof(/hide) armorkit on his trousers, he has potentially more HP than 800, especially if all his equip was the top he could get, and he loaded himself up on Sta enchants.

If hes twinked, you can only beat him by being a twink, and knowing your class. Otherwise, you will only ever beat him when you're a good 5-10 levels higher than him, depending on how good he is at his class.
