DSi. Got one. OMG. Happy.
Pretty darn awesome if I have to say so myself. I don't have that many games at the moment, since I traded nearly all my games in to get it for the amount of money I had, and the only ones I had left was a Japanese version of Pokemon Pearl, which I hadn't touched in years since I got the English Diamond, and Final Fantasy Fables: Chobobo Tales, which I finished the same week I got it.  Oh well. The camera and sound things are heaps fun, it'll last me 'till I get some more games. w00t -------------------  | |

Grats. Not gonna bother with it, I have a camera, DS and multiple ways to play & edit music, movies, and pictures. Seems a bit redundant for me to spend the money there. Are there any half-decent freebies in the DSiWare store yet? ------------------- | |

Eh, the only reason I'd buy it is for the DSiWare. And that's only if they manage to get consistent titles of this quality. I have no interest in a camera or media player. Btw, what's the resolution of the camera anyways? I'm assuming it's definitely not VGA, but you can never tell with Nintendo.

My old DS Lite was almost broken, so I thought I may as well trade it in before it was broken completely. I wouldn't buy it just for the sake of buying it though.
You get 1000 free points to spend on the DSiWare store, and I got a nifty Dr. Mario remake and a WarioWare game, and although the Dr. Mario game is heaven, the WarioWare makes horrible use of the camera, and it only has 20 microgames. That Dragon Quest game looks pretty darn awesome though. And about the freebies, the only one so far is the internet browser, and isn't really that great to be honest. This is the Australian DSiWare store, so chances are there are more. I have no idea what VGA is, but according to Wikipedia, both the cameras are VGA. I'm assuming that's a bad thing? ------------------- | |

Well kinda. VGA camera's are usually one of the worst these days. They're only 0.3 megapixels. Most phones usually have around 2 megapixels nowadays with some really pricey ones having 5 megapixels. But it doesn't really matter for the DSi since you're just going to use it for goofing around and not for actual photography.
My Phat's still holding up even though my brother's Lite is slowly falling apart. I've got to hand it to them. Even if it's not aesthetically pleasing, it sure as hell is sturdy. ------------------- Who Cares really? I mean, in the end it's all just politics. Jeepers, you guys must have gotten good DSes.
I've had my white Lite since 2006, and it completely died last month. The control pad would need to be pressed heaps hard to work, the left shoulder button doesn't work and the hinge has a crack through it, so I need to hold the top screen with a finger or something to keep it facing me, rather than going all the way back. Oh, and I got Kingdom Hearts DS! *sigh* I've been playing nothing else since getting it. Times like these I love being Japanese. ------------------- | |

I'm having trouble with the mission Time To Act, where you get to send one unit in aid of the Moogles to defend Goug. But the Moogles are just too terribly weak. One simply got killed in one hit, how can I possibly defend these losers?

Sometimes the best option is to wait until your stonger and simply outpower them.
