I put some sprinklers in my Garden, but when its time for my plants to be watered the sprinklers don't turn on. So therefore my Sims had to water them. Why doesn't the sprinklers work?

How long did you wait? Try clicking on the sprinklers and turn them on. They should be on by default but you never know.

I waited like the next day. It wouldn't give me the option to turn them on. How many days did you wait?

I think they just turn on automatically and I don't think there is an option to turn them on but I'm not 100% sure. But I don't like buying the sprinklers because when my plants need to be watered there not.

Yeah the same happens to me!! Did it ever turn on for anybody? or why does it not work at the right time?

I don't really pay attention to my garden that much but I've only seen it work like once

It should turn on at least once a day provided that it's not winter and that you have plants or flowers around it. Perhaps it's glitched. Try deleting it and add another type of sprinkler and see.

I think they go on automatically based on when you placed them.
Just be sure to keep an eye on them because they break and are hard to see when they are broken.

A video of what? Working sprinklers? Just go look at someone's lawn that has one dude.

Have you tried deleting them and getting different ones?

By the way, a broken sprinkler would actually squirt out water non-stop, so that's definitely not your problem.

Why would someone have a video on youtube showing a spinkler?

Because, maybe somebody may have had the same problem and wanted to let people know how it goes, so that people won't feel confused.

nvm, I build a new lot and family. And when I played them I fertilized the ground then put the sprinklers in and when I put my seeds in, the sprinkler turned on!!!!! It was so cool.

ive played the seasons on someones elses com.and i put sprinklers in and i dont think they worked ether.or did they? i cant remeber.lol,srry i cant help.
