Yea, well I just tryed the tigrex to get to HR3 and I got raped horribly hard ='(. I need a guide on how to kill this thing. I currently have a Full LVL 11 Rathalos Soul Set,(Total Def. is 291). The skills I have are Attack Up (Medium), Earplug, and Reckless Abandon +1. I threw in a fierce jewel for my extra 2 slots on the legs. I have a ravager blade+, Plesioth Watersword, Khezu Shock Sword, Crimson Goat, Blue Wing, a Titernia and a Hero's Blade Replica. I also have a full LVL 8 Ceanataur Set. With my full rathalos soul on, my stats are:
100 HP
100 Sta
___ Attack
291 Def.
10 Fire Res.
-5 Water Res.
10 Thunder Res.
0 Ice Res.
-20 Dragon Res.

Any suggestions on what to do in order to fight him/her/this douche bag??

With my full Ceanataur on, I have

5 Fire Res.

-5 Ice Res.
0 Dragon Res.

I did mine with a poison battle axe for some reason tiger hates poison and after hitting him reapeatedly u should be able to make him limp in about 20 min also dont touch him when hes pissed but after he does the double jump (in rage mode) hell do his scream bite and u can get atleast a comob in before he turns around.

Uh, im kinda more use to great swords. so i would prefer a guide on that please . Thanks for trying though

hes the same dxact thing as elder. so if you GS'd that one do the same thing here. khezu shock sword is good as thunder is his weakness. you know what helped me? watch a few youtube GS tigrex guides. btw, M3H, how are your rajang doing? get the armor yet? o yea and GET HGE! and rackless +2 if possible. srsly watch a vid. you must see to learn, not read about it.

o yea , DONT EVER GET HIT by a rex. seeing that guide is key. both rex missions are the same in terms of strategy. the GH one has more HP and hits insanely hard. anything near 900+ will do

this got me through dual tiggy you will need a GS with 755raw minimum otherwise it will not flinch on a full charge (unless your just under and get some miracle affinity)
