My weapons just bounce of him and I put down stupid barrel bombs but he charges right past them and they dont even explode. I can dodge his moves pretty easy its just his screams make me totally vulnerable to his next attack and my weapon just bounces right off him.

Is there something I can do to change the tables around and make this not so long? I am thinking it will take me like 30 minutes of bouncing my sword to kill this guy.

I have an eager cleaver as a weapon if you wanted to know.

Don't use longswords.

Frickin' Eager Cleaver. It will only cause you grief, especially if you use it on things not weak to thunder, like you are doing now.

Take something that can block the roar.

You probably don't have high grade earplugs avaliable to you...

Personally I would use a heavy bowgun, put on a shield to block the roar, and fire water shot, pierce shot, and the strongest normal shot you can at his chest.

Alternatively take a water element Greatsword, Sword and Shield or even a Lance.

If you really really can't find a water weapon, his next weakness is Fire by a modifier of 25 (water is 35) on his weakspot - which is his fleshy red stomach, which becomes avaliable to hit after you break the plates on his belly.

You are having problems with his roar.

You can't get high grade earplug.
You can't block.
You can't range it at a distance so far away that the scream won't reach you.
If you refuse to change (longsword suck btw), there's nothing anyone can do for you.

But Greatsword is pretty good, so is sword and shield, just go for the highest sharpness.
Like I said, water weapon, but I'm not sure what is avaliable to you.

I think regular Earplug might be enough for Basarios. Not 100% sure, but I think that's right.

You could always make the water dual swords and demonize his tummy to death.

okay so at my current point I can't make any good greatsword or sword and sheild water weapons. Same with fire but I could make this one weapon red saber. Its fire but its attack is 154 and fire attribute is 150 OR I can make a greatsword with the power of 720. which should I go with?

Don't use dual swords, you'll just face the same problem as you are now.

The main problems with the LS is that you need at least white sharpness to effectively cut through Basa, and using bounces to charge up the spirit gauge to full is tiring and dangerous.

Plus, the poison gas will get you every time.

Getting a bowgun with decent pierce ammo capacity or a bow with a high level pierce is god against it.

I suck at aiming with guns and I move really slow with them and take all hits adding on gunner armor isnt really the best.

If then, turn off the PSP and trash your UMD because you fail.

As it happens, Yuki, Basarios is ridiculously easy with DS. The flinch from the roar runs out before the roar is even over, so it is no problem. To the OP: just bomb it. Bomb it out of the ground and leave. Repeat a few times and, at that level, it will die.

Bomb it with what? I tried a barrel bomb but it doenst do crap. Like the barrel bomb said it explodes when it is attacked but he charges right towards it and it doenst explode, and I poke it and it explodes.

I had an issue using a GS to kill it, but after asking on another site I was told to use the Daimo Warbow(super easy to make)

I killed it the first time still with my GS, and every hit bounced. Each hit that bounces does 25% damage, so you can still kill it. took about 20-25 mins.

Now I used the Daimo Warbow I and I kill it in about 10-15 minutes with it. Really simple, really easy just make it. The water damage makes it a peace of cake.

Even bouncing off its armor still hurts it though and I have killed it that way with a valkeri GS.

But you can save potions, time, and effort with the Daimo Warbow.

Just used the bow again, busted open his chest, and captured him instead of killing him. Really Daimo Warbow ^.^

I have to kill a plesioth that thing is super boring. it hides under water and spams a beam move and my arrows or bullets dont go underwater. I try swording it and it totally owns me with its side dash or whatever.
