I the game is pretty cool with the new candy, plus instead of a birds-eye-view we get normal view.

I do like the baseball mini-game on the board. Is it available for an actual mini-game to just play with friends?

What is the orbs word in the game? I don't remember seeing that.

In Mario Party 6 & 7, they called candy orbs.

Does anyone else hate the intro? I'm getting really sick of turning it on because the guy never shuts up.

I mean, aside from Koopa's Tycoon Town, every board in this game stinks. Goomba's Booty Boardwalk relies too much on luck. ex. I got all the way to the end once, only to land on a green space and get thrown all the way back to the start. Lame. King Boo's Haunted Hideaway is just plain boring. The rest of the boards are decent, nothing special.

As for the characters, Blooper and Hammer Bro are lame. I'd rather they just stick to being enemies. Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong should of been playable characters. Speaking of Donkey Kong, where were the DK minigames!!??

As for the minigames, most of them were either too simple, or didn't make good use of the Wii remote. Mario Party 9 better be the best Mario Party yet.

All the games boards are dumb.I hate them.They are so boring and there is no fun that could come out from them,ever.I liked every aspect of MP7 better.It's a cool idea for using the wii remote but the games aren't fun.If they would of remade 7,it would be much funner.

The boards... are 7/10 ... the mini games... 7/10 not tha good. i love the tabletennis game

I don't mind the DK Temple, the layout is nicer. The Goompa world is terrible, and twilightprince, I know what you mean. Same thing, sent back. Also, when you get to the special island, you don't start back from the beginning, which is lame.

Does anyone else find their Wiimote doesn't pick up on the twisting, like in the twisting clock minigame?

See I liked both Mario Party 2 and Mario Party 3. The themes seemed to catch my eye.

The first Mario Party may not be the best, but it is essential to play.
