I haven't got into any mobwars yet but if it's the same as the PS2 game you need to use a bomb to blow up the shop. Just get inside the shop you don't have to go in too far, select the bomb (I don't know if they are actually called bombs, but the ones that aren't the dynamite and are not the molotovs) and detonate it get out of the shop as quickly as possible and then either admire your work or get out of there because you will have police after you. After doing this you should of won the mobwar.

To locate FBI Agents or G-Men, go to your map and there is a "blip" that is shaped like a hat, if my memory is right. That is where the FBI agents are. They usually hide in the basements of churches and they require roughly $3000 to ensure that the mob war has ended.
Or you can blow up the families' compound, which is the harder way. ------------------- 10/11/09 MW2.

You don't have to blow up the compound just any business that family owns.
I used to kill the people outside the club type business and then set the bomb between the two sets of doors.

You don't have to take over them though you just have to kill the people outside which is pretty easy if you hide behind cars, then you just step between the two sets of doors you go through to go in and detonate the bomb.
They are hard to take over though because there are so many people inside.

I know its not exactly a mobwar but its annoying when you go into a shop and theres rival gang members outside who come in and shoot at you when you grab a shopkeeper

I never bother with bombing rival businesses. It's way too much of a risk, considering that if you should happen to get iced in the process, they win the war and bomb about a dozen of your businesses. The only time I end the war by way of bombing is when I'm assaulting a compound (you're going to blow it up anyway, so why not?) But generally, it's way better to just find an FBI agent and pay him off. Remember, bombing a business will end the war with that family, but bribing an agent will drop your Vendetta with ALL rival families. Also, if you bomb a business when you're not at war, it won't lower your Vendetta, but you can bribe any time.

I always go for FBI agents. You'll see them marked on the map with the FBI badge. Sometimes they're a bit difficult to find, but once you know where they all are, it makes it much easier to get to them.
I think I've only won mob wars through bombing when I was taking over a compound, and that was because you had to bomb the compound. I find it's much easier to just bribe the FBI agent, even though it can get pricey. ------------------- Our lives begin to end the day we become slient about things that matter.
