I finally got frustrated enough with Dianamon that I DNAd her into Queenchessmon's path. I'd assume I'd do the same with Apollo as well.

It's a tough decision, but Shinegreymon simply has more firepower, which is often more reliable than extra crit and evasion. Plus that resistance to two common attack types.

Haven't you learned from pokemon that when comparing two things, you don't consider how they do against each other? .-.

Anyway, what it comes down to is +speed, +crit, +efficiency vs. +power, +light res, +fire res. The extra speed is a good thing, as is the efficiency, but MirageGaogamon would have to crit every time simply to match the punch that Shinegreymon has. Shinegreymon lasts longer too.

Think Hippowdown compared to Skarmory. .-.

MirageGaogamon is simply a worthless digimon without proper dna digivolving.

He only learns 2 or maybe 3 skills that actually do over 120 effect.

Shinegreymon on the other hand has a real crappy skill set if you don't dna him either.

Both of these were meant to go to higher levels.
But when you've raised them both to 999 in all stats it doesn't really make a difference who has more hp or atk or def, it's how many times you can hit in a row.

When it goes for looks we all will admit the Mirage looks a lot better. When it comes to fighting Shine might be a tad better but my vote goes to Mirage because of two things
1. I use his Blast Mode
2. Once you get techniques from either of the DNA styles I believe that Mirage would win. Flash Punch from BAN Leomon + equipment that rasies speed would ensure the win most likely.

Hmm.

I will not compare moves due to all moves being available.

+30 speed is soo much more important than + 30 attack power.

MGaogamon has Sniper 4. SN Greymon has no trait that boosts accuracy. Accuracy is needed to hit evasion Digimon like Calumon. MGaogamon also has Evasion 4, which means he will dodge hits more frequently than others.

In response, SN Greymon has 2 Resistance traits. IMO, they will not benefit him much. I rather have 2k damage miss me than soak 1k damage lowered due to these 2 traits.

Finally, the final trait Ex Damage 4 Vrs Economizer. SN Greymon wins here as it is a more useful one than MGaogamon's Economizer.

Signature wise, MGaogamon has a 3 hit, earth attack, easily beating SN Greymon's Glorious Burst.
