This thread will go hand-in-hand with the Digimon Analyzation thread to serve as a Tier List/Index as well as the discussion thread for the analysis made there. Also note that "Metagame" means competitive battling (usually with high stats).
One last note: If you're not in the DAT team and would like make your own analysis, feel free to post it in this thread. I was thinking about a tier list for awhile now, especially since there is a larger number of hardcore Digimon players here at Neo. We are allowed to analyze Digimon here as well, right? Because I had a Digimon in mind that I wanted to Analyze.

(Dragon) Traits: Heroic Power, Heroic Guard, God's Eye, Economizer This digimon is made to be a Long term fighter. Economizer decreases the amount of MP used so more attacks more MP to use (MORE DAMAGE), while Heroic Power adds 30 to a digimon's ATK. Heroic Guard is awesome for Metagame since it adds 30 to a digimon's DEF which would be hard to penetrate. God's Eye increases accuracy by an outstanding amount. Equipped with Items that raises its ATK and DEF will make sure that it can attack and defend its self better than most digimon, giving your team a well balanced killer. If equipped with SPD-boosting equipment, there's a chance that you could kill a digimon, which would be breaking down your opponent's strategy (duh). ImperialdramonFM is weak to Water elemental moves. It's not too strong against Dark elementals either. And then there's the issue of status ailments. Techniques: Learned moves(By Matching): - Rising Ray - Double Dragon Claw - Shining Ray - Burst Flame Signature move: Giga Death (Metal Element) MP 188, Effect 142, (00000) Fixed It's moves are incredible and come as you level up. Burst Flame is the top Fire learnable move and will most likely take out any beast that's weak to Flames. As Rising Ray(strongest Metal Move)attacks twice so it's sure to kill those that are weak to Metal. It's Signature move is good just like Rising Ray but some opponents like to spread their digimon apart and since this attacks all zones what is there to worry about unless you see a weak point on your side of the team then go with another move to stop that immediately. Verdict: This is defiantly a Top Tier digimon. The traits, are made for fighting long term battles especially Economizer in Metagame that rocks! This digimon has the strongest Fire and Metal learnable moves – Burst Flame & Shining Ray. it takes a while to get, but, with its long line of DNA digivolving it can acquire any skill from Gabumon's line, Kuromon's line, Chibomon's line, Patamon's line, and Gigamon's line. Mainly, Absolute Healing from Seraphymon. Giga Missle from either MetalGreymon or Metalgurumon. It already has the Omega Blade for a four range holy. Burst Breath from its DNA line Imperial FM. and lastly, Holy Slash. This is for all of the digimon I just named. Jordan, I'm not sure what you meant by "This digimon can be matched and still be on its top game." there. Also you asked me what the weakness is the other day. ImperialdramonFM's weakest to Water elemental moves, I believe. It's not too strong against Dark elementals either. And then there's the issue of status ailments.
Kenshuma, did you mean "Gigimon's" line instead of Gigamon? Also, I'll have to disagree with your last statement though. Out of those 3: IPDramonPM, SnGreymonBM, and GallantmonCM, GallantmonCM is definitely the best out of the three when they all have the same moves and stats. Compare their traits: IPDramonPM: Heroic Power, Angel's Glory, God's Eye, Economizer SnGreymonBM: Heroic Power, Angel's Glory, Flame Aura, Gladiator GallantmonCM: Heroic Power, Heroic Heart, Gladiator, Status Barrier God's Eye - Increases accuracy Angel's Glory - Resistance against Holy Flame Aura - Resistance against Fire Gladiator - Increases damage Status Barrier - Immune to status ailments Heroic [---] - Increases a stat by +30 I'm sure you see what I mean .ShineGreymon Burst Mode has the best signature move in my opinion though. The strongest, one target, triple-attack fire move in the game (Corona Blaze Sword) - which is why a lot of people use it in Metagame. ------------------- | |

all of them are equal if you ask me. one reason is, the minds eye for imperialPM, you have to hate missing alot or having to have a sniper ring on just to make sure you hit. Shine's sig is definitely what makes him beastly if paired against any digimon. And GallantmonCM's status barrier makes it better than most.

I see how you guys are forming your analysis, but I must honestly admit, they are not up to par.
I mean, come on! WarGreymon - Mametyramon + Flamedramon (Lv47+, Dragon EXP10000+, Attack 300+) MameTyramon - Ebidramon + Shellmon - Shellmon + Monochromon - Monochromon + Ebidramon (Lv32+, Dragon EXP3100+, Defense 200+) Shellmon gives you access to both 01 Crusher and Flash Punch. Omnimon gives you Royal Slash. After that, downgrade to Shinegreymon BM for a nice 3 hit signiture. That, my friend, is a real good battle Digimon. IMO, Imperialdramon is horrible for battling unless you plan to bring over his moves to Omnimon and go down, but that is a waste of time OR if you have that much time to get more digimon to bring over moves.I would rather spend the same time using Chaosmon or ZeedMilleniumon or SNGreymonBM. If you ask me, Imperialdramon FM is only good for in game training, but is horrible in real battling. Another important thing, dont just plainly go for attacks that hit 3,4,5 zones. Go for attacks that hit 1 zone three times. Its easier to heal 3000 damage done accross the board than 9000 damage to one sole Digimon. Some of the best moves for real competitive battling include Flash Punch, 01 Crusher, Gigatonne Hydro, Rainbow Spit, Spiral Claw, Royal Slash. The best heal is Absolute Healing, the best revival is Wave of Life, although if you have 2 digimon with Revives its ok | |
