You can DNA into Lynxmon, which IS in his line. ;D

Apollomon can't be DNA digivolved into. He's not really great compared to most competitive top tier digimon

However, by himself Apollomon lacks the required traits to be considered "good"

Many more digimon are better suited for the role Apollomon should be.

Heroic Power and Heart add only 30 to stats, insignificant and useless as compared to the edge Heroic move gives you.

Flame Aura is only mildly useful.

I think the only trait worth mention is Gladiator, but by itself it is not very significant as well.

Does not have:

Status Barrier
Heroic Move

Immediate disadvantage.

But compared to most digimon who are top tier as a brawler/attacker, hes by far the worst. He has no real advantage of staying power. He'd either be killed quickly or be inflicted with a status effect(most likely paralysis) making him useless before he can even show off that power

All Heroic traits EXCEPT Heroic move have insignificant effects on the gameplay. 30 attack is about 3% of 999 attack. 30 speed, on the other hand, lets you attack first.

Secondly, no one will spam a fire attack on a fire-digimon.

Gladiator is the only redeeming trait, but without assassin sense/God's Eye, it is useless, really.

Nicely put. Its true though, Digimon with traits like Apollomon tend to be rather useless in real battle and wont amount to much. For one, he'd be killed before he can use his meagger power(without assassins sense). HIs resistance to fire wont do him much considering only Corona blaze sword is the only useful one.

Minervamon is one of my fav digimon. I believe she is top tier because she can learn techniques from many diffent lines. She can be obtained by DNA digivolving BlackWeregarurumon and Knightmon. If you degenerate her into BlackWereGarurumon you can degerate it back down into a Tsunomon and then into a gabumon and onward to a MetalGarurumon and DNA it into an Omnimon and degerate into the Wargreymon line and keep going from their (i suggest maybe the Shinegreymon RM or BM)

Minervamon is good but lacks offensive traits to make it useful despite possessing Heroic move.

Third best, at most.

It is better to deal high damage than hit first. After all, hitting first is important but if your team is stable i wont matter.
