Well, what Laxaria said is true. Minervamon has great speed, but lacks any good offensive traits (techniques don't matter, because of DNA Digivolution

Top Tier:

Apocalymon
Chaosmon
Dotmiragegaogamon
Duftmon
Miragegaogamon Burst Mode
Omnimon
Ravemon Burst Mode
Saberleomon

They all scream, "LOL UR DEAD!" more than anything else in the game.

I want to add

Cherubimon
Zeed Milliniumon
Armegeddenmon
Chaosmon
Sleipmon
Calumon

I have doubts about Saberleomon, though.

I assume Armeggedden is soley for the oh-so-evil ulti flare? Other than that, leaves something to be desired. <_>

Zeed and Cherubi wouldn't make much sense at all to me. Sleip is... borderline top if that.

re: Digimon Tier List - Analyzation discussions

Sorry? I feel insulted.

Zeed has God's Eye and Assasin Sense, making it dish out massive damage with near perfect accuracy. Status barrier stops it from being stopped by status.

Cherubimon is the ONLY Digimon with Heroic move, a + crit trait and a + accuracy trait.

Once again, may I remind you, this is coming from a battler with experience.

Oh right. Sorry. <_>

I'm guessing this is both Cherubimon? Though G is better...

Both are good. I prefer E cause he has assassin. I prefer that over God's Eye.

Chaosmon - His signature sucks for PvP, and if you really want Heroic Move + Assassin, there's much better options. Gladiator sounds like it adds a lot of damage, but it doesn't really do anything, so anything with Evasion Dance is better by default.

Saberleomon - Semi-decent sig, but has the same trait issue as Chaosmon, except with Critical 4 instead of Assassin.

Chaosmon is useful when you want to deal damage, and with the rite team and really deal it out.

What do you mean borderline. He's one of the best tanks, with one of the best sigs. He can support & attack. He is top tier material no doubt.

re: Digimon Tier List - Analyzation discussions

I think I know what Hikari means.

For him and for most battles, you have to try and make use of every possible move available to you. That means that Ravemon BM, Omnimon and Deathmon Black are significantly much much better than Zeed and others like Cherubimon as their Signatures add another offense strong enough to be considered deadly.

I do agree that Chaosmon isn't the best attacker available.

I also agree that Sleipmon isn't the best tank available, but is a good substitute and one redeeming factor is his signature. If he had a different one I would have overlooked him. The lowers Sleipmon can be is second highest, not borderline.

re: Digimon Tier List - Analyzation discussions

Exactly. In PvP, you have to use every option available to you, and Chaosmon falls short when there's better alternatives like those, so there's no way he could be top tier.

Almost anything with All Element makes for a good tank, and Sleipmon's one of the better Digimon w/All Element.

Sleipmon lacks Status Guard, so be wary of that.

re: Digimon Tier List - Analyzation discussions

lol. That's actually cost me a game, so I remember it quite well.

All Element + Status Barrier > All Element alone, obviously. However, if you're playing by Zephyron's set of rules, your usage of All Element + Status Barrier become limited.

So then anything with All Element + Status Barrier should be top tier? Probably. Although even within that narrow group, some are better than others.

re: Digimon Tier List - Analyzation discussions

Armageddemon:

Alignment: Dark

Techniques: Nano Break, ULTI Flare

Traits: Heroic Power, Heroic Guard, All Elements, Status Barrier

Armageddemon can be DNA Digivolved from Diaboromon and Infermon, or be scanned in Dusk's Magnet Mine region. Either way, getting him in Dawn is impossible without Dusk interaction.

One intriguing thing about Armageddemon is that he starts with an effectively blank canvas. He has no techniques other than his Finishing Technique to start with, and he only learns one through levelling up. Given that both of the Digimon needed to DNA Digivolve to Armageddemon are from the same Digivolution line, it might take a fair amount of work and effort to get him a good variety of moves. His staying power opens him up to the possibility of healing or revival techniques, and his support ability allows him to significantly improve other Digimon defensively.

Status Barrier is always good to have, as is All Elements. The two traits form a very strong combination making him difficult to bring down. Heroic Guard is reasonable, and Heroic Power, when coupled with his Finishing Technique, can be very helpful. ULTI Flare has a basic power of 155 and hits twice. Coupled with Heroic Power, that's a total of 370 attack power. On the subject of ULTI Flare, it's fire element, not dark, so Armageddemon can have another dark technique without causing any difficulties.

Armageddemon isn't seemingly designed for staying in the battle as much as Apokarimon/Apocalymon, neither is he designed for offensive power as much as ZeedMillenniummon. He's more of an all-rounder among Dark Digimon.

Verdict: Top Tier, but you'll have to work for it if you want a good set of moves. Two fantastic traits, another which is particularly useful for Armageddemon and one which helps anyway, plus a great Finishing Technique, make him a formidable Digimon.

Anyone got any opinion on it? This is the revised version of the previous analysis I'd made.
