I think everyone has done the basic. Warrior, Monk or Theif, Black Mage and White Mage. But what other party make ups do you run as and are your favorites and why?

I like the power melee group right now. War, 2x Monk, and a Red Mage. Though I could have lived without the red mage, its nice for the support healer/nuker.

White Wizard,Master,Ninja, and Knight.I dont like the monk, confusing. i recently read a guide that said to unequip everything on him,i did which was an iron nunchaku and some armor,he jumps from 2 to 4 hits to 6hits so now hes hitting 10 hits with his fists dealing more damage than the knight at lvl 36.Im planning on starting a file with the Black Mage,Warrior,Theif, and Red Mage.

Monk bare hand = god. Best damage in the game.

might as well be lol, you know how to use those equipment items that say casts heal when used?especially with haste on the monk killed marilith so easily,i was trying to make the fight drag on lol.2icebrands and 20 hit.

I use 4xRed mage 'cause they just rape

I usually go with warrior, monk, red mage, white mage

Warrior: Gets the best weapons, and strong
Thief: Gets Masumane, fast,strong
Black Mage: Black Magic
White Mage: White Magic

My secondary team is a warrior red mage monk and thief which is also good but the team on top is better

i got 4 warriors but i got a question, how do you get a white wizard, black wizard, ninja, knight and any other classes? all i could get was a theif, white mage, black mage, warrior, monk and a red mage.

You obtain the advanced classes by acquiring the rat's tail in the Citadel of Trials, than bring that to Bahamut in the Dragon's Den.

You need the airship.

Dragon's Den is is on that cluster of islands with multiple holes and Hellfire Chasm.

its actually pretty good

Mine is all mages + a warrior.
You know, BM is a great class for kicking some ass since their spells mostly kill enemy party's with a single blow, so...
White mage, well, heals up,
Red mage mostly uses stat + spells such as Temper and uses Black magicks and healing if I'm in trouble.
And a warrior makes a pretty perfect tank, you know, normal enemies have dealt 1-6 damage to mine, so...
