I mean, Garet is a very powerful player. He has great Atk, Def, and he's really strong with a sword. The only thing that sucks about him is his speed, though. Garet is one of my favs!!

im actually trying to find dijin/weapon combinaitions to make him a powerhouse, with an attack that dwarfs his psyenergy. though this is on the 1st golden sun.

@Dragon tamer: Muramasa + Elven Shirt + Mythril Shirt + Quick Boots + Samurai or Ninja class = Win Garet.

The 1.5x speed boost is far better for Garet than any amount of defense that he doesn't really need/can get from other gear.

Muramasa is in the...9th level of Crossbone Isle. Its cursed, but if you get the Cleric's Ring from Crossbone Isle, it shouldn't be an issue.

well ive pumped up Garet with eavrything i could to boost his attack. (beleive it or not, a demon axe is stronger then muramasa) yet for some reasion, he is still hitting monsters for about 150dmg, dispite haveing an attack of over 400. whats up?

hey i actually like Garet comparatively. Sheba and Ivan are the ones i dont like just because they are horrendously weak in like all areas bar speed and psynergy. i have isaac, felix and jenna and that leaves my four spot open and i usually choose piers just to diversify lol.

but anyway Garet aint bad at all especially with his default class as he can take a lot of punishment and if he is a chaos lord he can be a very hard hitter. so he would deff fall within the tank class slow but powerful. id take that over speed except when facing dullahan you know.

Keeping in mind that these characters have never left Vale in their entire lives, it's easy to see why.
