When I put in a password i press a button, i 4got wich 1 , and it comes up with the stats of my new characters. Then when I press any other button the stats go away and im back at the main menu. What do i do after i've put in the code so it'll activate?I Need Help Bad!!!

Everyone is worried about seeing Isaac's team's status screen after putting in the password...

After you put in the password (or transfer by link cable) you will always see the status screen. Just keep pressing the A button and it willl be over. Pressing B will make you go back.

I guess you have to re-type the password...

When you enter the password and it's accepted it won't immediatley take effect. It will start to take effect once the four character's from the original Golden Sun (I can't remember their names) and they'll hav whaterver stats, djinn, ond/or items (depending on the type of password) you left off with.

how do i transfer data from a clear data file?

You seem to be having a lot of trouble. To transfer a file, start from the black screen with the Golden Sun logo on it.
Hold Left on the + pad and the R button, and press B. The "Send" option appears. Press A and select the file you want to use. Keep in mind it has to be a Clear Data file.
If you want to use the password (my advice? don't unless you have to) select bronze, silver, or gold, depending on how much you want to transfer. If you're just starting a file, select Yes when it asks if you want to transfer, and put in the password. If you're in the middle of a game you want to update, select Update from the start menu to get the same thing.
If you want to link, just select Cable instead of Password. This is so very much faster and so very less frustrating.
