Pah, Acherions grief looked great. Its the Dark version of Gia Blade. So I like it. But, I agree, Excalibur is a better sword because of the unleash. Sol Blade pwns all though.

Something I've noticed: Tisiphone Edge unleash > Sol Blade unleash.

Plus it's Ivan's best weapon so my favorite would be the Tisiphone Edge.

I remember the assassin blade from GS1. I got one for all the guys and I loved the instant kill effect on some enemys.

Yeah, that was good. Great for Ivan and good for Isaac. Garet(suprise, suprise) kinfa sucks with it. I always give Garet axes anyway. Suits his character better.

It is strange how people pick a specific weapon type people look right with. I too try to keep axes on Garret and swords on Issac.

The vorpral slash from the first game was always one of my favorite unleashes. I don't really know why, maybe because I missed that sword in my first playthrough.

I agree. That was very good. It came with the Elven Blade I believe, and I had it on Issac/Ivan for quite a long time. I liked the way Issac used it, with his jump, black screen and a green SLASH across the screen and then return to normal.
Asura was a neat unleash too. Although, in GS1 I got quite addicted to watching Swift Sword and Bandit sword unleashes. I liked the tri strike possibilty. Bit similar to Excalibur I guess.

That's my favourite unleash too. The mace that does a red slash in GS2 isn't nearly as good mainly because it's a mace.

Tri attack possibilities and instant kills are always good. I would always try for three assassain's blades and have gotten three excaliburs my last several games.

I'm in the reprocess of getting everyone kitted out with Oraclerion ( sp? ) armour, and Excalibur for the guys except for Issac, with the Sol Blade, Tisiphone edge for Ivan and Jenna, and because its more powerful, Laechis's rule for Sheba and Mia. I'll have a nebula staff as backup though. I'm halfway in doing this. Ive done it before, and its well worth it. ANd I've already aqcuirred a full set of Dark Matter stuff too, which I'm not using currently.

I typically equip any cursed object on Garret along with the cleric ring. Its fun to see someone equipped in all black and red gear.

I also always only ever have cursed stuff on Garet. Never anyone else. Odd

I usually put cursed gear on Garet but in GS1 I gave Isaac the demon mail and the Murasame(both are cursed). With the cleric ring of course.
