re: General On-Topic Discussion

I think since you (people in general) had played the first Golden Sun before playing The Lost Age it made it that much easier. Just because you were use to the battle system, djinn, controls, ect.

I played TLA first. xD I actually thought it was boring at first (I blame Kraden! ), so I stopped playing it around Kandorean Temple. Then I bought GS, completed it, then completed TLA. But yeah, I had more trouble with GS than TLA. Of course, another factor for TLA's easiness could be the fact that the Sol Blade unleashes Megiddo practically every other turn. xD

That happened to me too. I played a friends TLA first, gave up at Kanoderean temple, then got GS and completed it and then got TLA and beat it...

I got GS first. Then TLA. and in my opinion TLA is much worse.

I think I enjoyed GS more then TLA, but... I don't know...

I prefered being Isaac over Felix. Never liked him.

re: General On-Topic Discussion

Felix>Isaac for one reason. Despite the fact he has a mute virus for nearly all of TLA, Felix does speak.

In Trial Road, he says, and I quote "Why?"

This makes him better than Isaac.

I kid. I like Isaac better too. Maybe because we got to see more of his actual personality than we did Felix's.

re: General On-Topic Discussion

It's hard for me to choose which game I like, but the team I like is Isaac's team. xD I had his team fight Doom Dragon and Dullahan *the last time I played, no one died at the end of the Dullahan fight - I mangaed the keep everyone goin! Lost lots of Waters of Life though. xP Oh yea, and switching characters.*

Not that it really matters, keeping everying alive by the end of the Dullahan fight. He's only worth a Wonderbird and a half. ....

re: General On-Topic Discussion

The problem with TLA is that Felic has a personality that appeared in GS. But the character just dies because he doesn't speak. (Excluding "Why?" and "!!!") You don't mind with Isaac because he never had a personality anyway, plus the GS party is much more likable than the TLA one.

And Mia is much better than Sheba and Jenna
And Ivan is better than Sheba. Issac is cooler than Felix, and Garet is the comedy.
Piers doesn't fir in at all, Shebas useless, Jenna's a hot head, and Felix has a one track mind.
Oh and he says more at the end of the game remember?

Okay, I'm new to TLA and this forum, though I have beaten the original. Question: when you start a new game it asks if you want to import data from the original but you need to put in a password. How do you get it?

Before anyone asks, I only have one GBA so transferring the data via link cable is out.

Sucks to be you, expecially if you want to use a Gold Password.

Okay, to get a password, you have to have the "Clear Data" file you got at the end of GS on your cartridge. When you're at the menu screen (where it says load, erase, new game, etc), press and hold: Left, B, and R. A "Send" option should appear. Select it, choose password as your method of transfer and select the password desired. Copy the password down onto a piece of paper or something.(Yeah, that's right, I said copy it!) and then carefully input it into your TLA password transfer screen. Trust me, nothing sucks more than typing in a Gold Password only to find it doesn't work.
