Right, well, with the release date drawing steadily near to Golden Sun II: The Lost Age, it might be best that this thread came up.

WARNING

As the release for GS2 draws very close I am worried that and new information on the game will now spoil it for those who don't want to see it. So, if you don't want any of the storyline to be revealed to you (that includes me), I suggest you don't read this thread past this post.

I for one found it very annoying when I saw countless threads on Golden Sun that just spoilt the whole thing. I knew that the Fusion Dragon would be created, I knew that I needed pretty much all the optional psynergy to complete crossbone isle, all before I completed the game. This thread is here so people don't suffer my fate when GS2 comes out in Japan, but not in America.

Basically, if there is any new information about the game, or any form of screenshot or media file that you think hasn't been mentioned before, please post your information here.

thats the same one as the one i have, are there different ones or are they all the same? i want some new ones but there is none.

There are two new ones actually. But they're both gamespt.com exclusive. And gamespot costs money. Which I currantly have none of due to my gamecube.

They're both 7 megs large.

Right. GS2 has had its first ever review.

Unfortunatly, Link's Agents were unable to find out just what the review said (Link's agents being, erm, me), but perhaps that's all for the best.

However, I can give you the scores: 9/9/7/8, and that earns their Gold Award. So we can expect something special here.

Here is a summary of all of the Lost Age information leaked up until 6/25/2002:
•The game's playable characters are Felix, Sheba, Jenna and Picard.
•There will be new Djinn, but the same 4 Djinn types will remain.
•Isaac and Company do not seem to be playable.
•Felix has a ship with several floors on it that he can travel around the world in.
•There will be new Psynergy in the game.
•There are new summons in the game, but only up to Level 4 summons as seen in the previous game.
•Old Psynergy such as Whirlwind has new use in The Lost Age.
•You now have the ability to walk tightropes.
•The game will be released in early 2003 in the United States.

Here is a summary of information posted at GBA Central:
•Psynergies from the original game will have new use in the Lost Age.
•It appears that you won't control Felix for all of the game.

It has been confirmed that The Lost Age will recieve data from the originail game. See the Lost Age Screenshots section for the code to get to the Send menu in the original game.

Here is information reported on GameSpot:
"The Lost Age, the sequel to the popular Game Boy Advance RPG. Details are scarce at present, but in the press release issued by Nintendo, it was stated that the story for The Lost Age will be far more expansive than that of the first game in the series. Players will have the ability to meet and join parties of other characters, and party members will come and go as the story dictates. The gameplay will include action outside of the turn-based combat that made up the first game's experience, and players will have the ability to collect "djinn," which can be used in battle to solve the game's puzzles. Djinn can also be assigned to specific characters to affect their attributes."

oh yeah and very interesting info!!! and it suck that isacc and friend are not playable and that felix wont be controlled in the whole game. maybe in the beginning of the game the 4 will die and you see a movie.
