Eh. The Tisiphone Edge's full power unleash happens about as often as Excalibur's triple unleash for me.

Besides, Excalibur's are easier to get at lower levels, and even higher levels if you don't use RNGs.

The great thing about T-Edges is that they make Ivan not suck as much compared to the other characters.
Unfortunately, there's just no saving Sheba. Alas.

Sol Blade is the most reliable i guess, it unleashes more often...

lol it technically doesn't unleash any more often that the others the the catch is it only has the x3 damage unleash while the others have the x1.5 and x3(in the T.edges case it also has the x2 unleash the only one of it's kind) so technically they all unleash just as often it's just a question of when they hit for x3. And I feel bad for sheba and Mia not getting x3 weapons but in mia's case she is the strongest healer so I guess that she is balanced somewhat... but Sheba yeah she pretty much loses almost all value in the later parts of the game.


And you lucky cookie god you. At least I'm still the RNG master, last time I checked. Anyone ever play against a friend in golden sun? Last time I did my friend dc'd the link on me after beating his hacked team that had 300 more defense three times in a row. I have to admit it was kinda cheap how I did it though I took out everyone except his healer and then used a ground petra combo until I finished them off too... Cheap, but effective.

I have played multiplayer battles once or twice, but usually with someone who wasn't all that great at the game. I pretty much protected myself with shield Djinn and waited for him to run out of his summons rush and crushed his weakened characters.

Yeah summon rushers are usually terrible at linked battles. One well placed shiled djinn and their whole tactic ends in humiliation. Heck summons aren't all that great in linked battles the damage tends to be rather low the best I've seen is like 900-1200 from Iris and 300 from level 4's it's kinda sad. And with out djinn chances are you'll get a one hit KO if you're 99 especially with optimum equipment.

Hey, congrats GP!

I played multiplayer once with my brother because he insisted on it. And I destroyed him.

Granted, my characters were about twenty levels above his, but those are merely petty details.

Hey wouldn't the Excalibur be considered "The Sword Of Light" since it was made by the gods of the heavens, right?

Actually, if any sword in GS would be considered the sword of light, it would be Phaeton's blade because Phaeton, in Greek Mythology, was the son of the Sun god, Helios. As we all know, sun brings light. Unfortunately, also in Greek mythology, Phaeton got burned to a crisp for trying to do his dad's job, so...

Besides, The Phaeton Blade's unleash is photon or something like that.
Photon = packet of light.

Yeah but still. Excalibur was made by holy gods in the heavens and resembles the power to repel darkness (Light's main job) Therefor it being the sword of light. Also.....!

1st = Dark Sword
2nd = Sol Blade
3rd = Excalibur
4th = T. Edge

In terms of the overall better weapon...

1st = Sol Blade/Excalibur (debatable)
2nd = Sol Blade/Excalibur (debatable)
3rd = T. Edge
4th = Any end-game weapon but Dark Sword. Lachesis Rule, perhaps.
