The game cheats. That or some of you guys that are soooooo good at this game got a game that is easy and some of us got a game that you need to be one of the programmers to know how to hit a ball for a base hit. I dont strike out, but Ive single-handidly given the second baseman and shortstop enough reps to earn a season long gold glove honor. This is driving me crazy. Ive resorted to playing on rookie and STILL only manage 3 or 4 hits a week. Barely.

also, try sticking to only contact hitting. don't use the power swing (square), that'll only lead to strike outs and pop-ups. if your playing on rookie, sit on a low 4-seem fastball with your guess pitch. chances are that the pitcher will lay at least one of them in a zone that you can rip for some hits. but just like it was stated previously, hitting is all about timing.

Try bunting more with faster guys. It will net you some guaranteed hits.

If your playing on rookie, guess fastball and wait till you get a decent one. as you swing, move the controller up. you'll get a few pop flys, but alot of line drives and homers too.
