Is DW:GUNDAM only for PS3?

Coz when I went to the shop where I buy PS2 games, I saw a copy of DW:GUNDAM. I tried to played it and it worked but only on Japanese language

Please confirm: Is it released on PS2 already?

There is no such game for PlayStation 2, unless your thinking of the much older Zeonic Front, which has nothing to do with Dynasty Warriors.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is only released on PlayStation 3, and possibly Xbox 360.

Whats Zeonic Front?

Bandai and Namco did create and produce Zeonic Front.
Please tell me how you play the game, are you controlling a slow bulky Zaku? Or are you running around and slashing peons into pieces?

I'm controlling a gundam and the gundam's driver is a gundam driver in one of the animes. I think its amuro ray. I cant figure out the speech because its japanese. Its like DW, hacking around other gundams(ZAkus I think). then there's this red tank also a peon. What I think when I played it is that the robots are so small... geez.

The menu is like a rim of a ring and goes counter-clockwise as you choose a mode or an option. The menu has japanese language on it but on top of it some English. But only the menu has that kind of feature.

I do think that its zeonic forces. I'm just not sure.

Its not, I think you are playing Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, but its not on the PlayStation 2.

Incorrect. It IS on the PS2, but only in Japan. I imported it, and it is nearly identical to the PS3 version. In fact, the PS3 version's graphics (KOEI sucks) are not that great. They look like something from an arcade machine, circa 2004.

Therefore, the PS2 has only slightly downgraded graphics. I don't think it was released in the US simply because it didn't prove quite profitable. It didn't have enough suits that the US folks are familiar with - however, the sequel is in the works, and will feature even more suits from the Gundam series' that were released stateside, to lure folks in with familiarity. You'll probably all 5+ suits from Wing, instead of just Wing Zero and Epyon.
