I just played the Demo from the PS Store, and I gotta say I really like this game. I don't even like the actual Dynasty Warriors games, but I think this one is pretty good.

Anyone else play the Demo? What are your thoughts?

I think I got just above 700. I keep dying a lot, though, too. I've playe the demo a few times, and I've only lived through one out of the 3 or 4 times I've played it.

That's part of the reason I don't really like Dynasty Warrior games....I kinda suck at them for some reason

I'm suprised I like the demo, though. I've never really liked Dynasty Warriors games OR even Gundam Wing, so it's wierd that I like a combination of the two.

yea i kno wat u mean but the only series of gundam that ive liked was g gundam thats it then the other series i just skipped

I found this game a lot more boring than the old DWs which is saying a lot. I actually liked the old ones too. The problem with this one is it really had the control scheme feeling of Xx80, O, Repeat.

Well, in all of the DW games you pretty much just run to a group of enemies, press the attack button 100 times, go to another group of enemies press the attack button 100 times, and so on. But I liked this one, probably just because of the giant robot theme.......that's pretty cool

drogo i agree with u, this game is like fighting more freely than in the others

i played it on 360 one thing disappointing me is the range attack instead of using the beam rifle he uses the machine gun on his head:(. Boost is a little short. I wish they would give us the open fighting of the last DBZ game and able to switch weapons from rifle to sword basically make it more like the anime series.

Yeah, I thought the beam sucked, too. But, from the looks of things, I think we can probably customize the mechs a bit, so there are probably some beams that are very powerful.

We probably got the first, basic weapons of the game in the demo. That's how it usually works in most demos, or atleast the ones I've played.

Oh, and if you got enough hits, and used the beam, it would shoot a huge beam and you could destroy loads of enemies, it was pretty cool and useful for the bosses.

The Demo for Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is available on the Play Staion Online Store for downloading.

Oh, and there's also a Heavenly Sword Demo if anyone's interested, but I played that and it was wayyyyyyy too short, I thought

is this a gundam wing based game or a REAL gundam styled game?

Neither. It's a mishmash of various Gundam series 'suits', vs a bunch of other random (usually fodder) 'suits'. Boss character are likely other Gundams and such, while fodder suits (a la DW Peons) would be Leos, Zakus, that sort of thing.

It's got UC, Wing, G, and other suits. Doubt there's a hardline story anywhere.

i own the game

there is official mode which follows a gundam set story, then there is an original mode (which is kinda like free mode) only it is a series of missions that takes place on a far-away planet.

its pretty good, it does have a very repeating process with most of the gundams, but there is definitely potential if they make a sequel with some big upgrades...

7.5/10 in my opinion
