are there actually any houses in the shivering isles?
because it's really annoying when you have a whole heap of stuff from a dungeon in the shivering isles and you have to go back to cyrodiil to dump it.

quote ParaphanaliaNo, unfortunately there are no houses you can purchase. Although once you get to the part in the main quest where you take over either the duke or duchess' spot, you can probably use their chamber. I have never tried so I'm not positive on that one. Aero

that's really annoying.
it makes such a great expansion seem unfinished.

yeah you can use your quarters that are heavily guarded which is a nice touch and is a better room than youll find anywhere in cyrodill truly fit for a god ...although there are many camps with bedrolls if no heretic or zealot is around.....but the isles consists of tunnels ...forts and dungeons not a very rural enviroment not colonized like tamriel .....if you are having trouble with being over-encumbered you could always create several feather spells and cast them individually ...they are rather cheap to make and to cast and best of all they stack up ....you could have an extra 300 pounds for 120 secs with three different spells....

You're best bet is to just make your own house mod for Shivering Isles.
What I did for a long time is I went to that inn in... I haven't played it in so long I can't remember the name of the place. It's the Mania side of the capitol city. I would drop stuff in the wardrobe of the room you can rent.

I' just always tediously lugged everything unique from the Isles to my own house in Skingrad and sold everything else. Utill I took over the Dukes den that is, then I started stashing some stuff there, but it seemed a bit pointless because I had already finished a massive chunk of the expansion by then and rinsed the Isles fairly clean.
I had always considered using Hirrus's house from the 'Final Resting' Quest - after all you can aquire his key for free access... I don't recall however weather ar not you can use his bed... maybe this is why I never took it over? Like what Loki said, you could just kill someone and use their house to store stuff.
Or making a house mod is also a nice idea. You could upload it to Tesnexus and help everyone else that has the same problem. ------------------- ![]()
