I went to the smith (in The Missing Pauldron) in Bliss to buy some lovely amber armour for myself - I am the Madgod after all, and think I deserve proper protection... And the orc smith was very charming (and possibly slightly gay), but when I got the armour, it was called "Impure Amber Cuirass" and "Impure Amber Gauntles," etc. I want pure amber armour... (Or just normal amber armour would do too.)
Anyone know why it's "impure"?

It is based on your level. If you are levels 1 to 3, then it is automatically impure. The good news it that you can make as many armors as you want - you just need to gather more supplies. So gather some more and then wait until you level higher before making the next set.

At level 25+ you get perfect armor and weapons, so you can collect amber and use use it then
But you can also be mean and cheat a bit to get your perfect armor hehe:

press: ~
type: player.setlevel 100
press: Enter

Result: you are lvl 100 now and will get all the best quest rewards and stuff. All enemies are super strong now (according to your lvl, opponents also get in strength) so, after you get the good stuff:

press: ~
type: player.setlevel ## ( ## = your previous lvl )
press: Enter

Now you got the super stuff and are still low level.. lol
