Haha, I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of the expansion?
I purchased the GOTY edition recently and have just got into it and i think everything about shivering isles is amazing. The new weapons and armours look immense, the people are a strange however amusing adition to the game, its a beautiful landscape in both Mania and Dementia. Overall its just amazing haha.

What do you all think?

yeah it is a brilliant add on, the story and side quests are probably as long as most average games coming out now so that warrents the price. and i love how crazy everyone in this land is, they are all completely *bleep*ing mad!

Haha, the expansion for me has matched even the origional game!

^ tbh the original has much more to do, naturally

but shivering isles is so different, its nice to have a break from the seriousness of obliviov and just mess about in a land full of lil wierdos

I know theres more but shivering iseles is just different ina good way and fun to ply. I havent started yet im too evil, is it good?

yeah it is, not as much for a mage tho, but if u play as a kinght like i do u will get armor, good weapons etc. And u get a follower at the end, not that the followers are any good - they seem to die every time u turn ur back on them

Haha, I made a mage but im not enjoying it atm so im going back to assassin, i love stealth and daggers

I loved SI; I got GOTY as well, but KON is basically a long drawn out quest for armor, and who needs good armor when you have chameleon-enchanted stuff?
Ha, no but seriously it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

I enjoyed KOTN, was epic as shit. I mean, sure, you're collecting pieces of armour... but you have to kill badass dudes and run badass dungeons with puzzles and shit to get it... so it's essentially no different to the majority of the game, with the exception of the thieves guild. Which isn't a bad thing at all in my opinion.

Shivering Isles was better though, I think. I'm yet to go around and do all the little questies. Just finished it today. That Sheogorath guy has major problems.
