i have heard a rumor that some people can make your character special items i was just woundering is this true and does any one have any info on it either?

Ahhhh yes, there are two places in Shivering Isles where you can get new weapons and stuff....

The Crucible, or something like that, and something else.....One in Mania, one in Dementia....It requires you to get specific items, you can find whilst running around, I think?

This is true, I read a preview about the game (I think I posted the link on the news sticky thread at the top of the forum.) There are people in the game that can make weapons for you but you need to collect certain raw ingredients for them. Sounds like it is a pretty cool addition to the game.

I took a day off because I expected to be playing this all day! Damn Microsoft for updating their servers today. Why couldn't they have done the maintenance tomorrow instead? This is the biggest downloadable content ever on live and they screw it up like this! OH well, hopefully back up soon...

Hopefully we will figure out a new way to dupe items to make this easy because I think with SI there is no dupe glitch anymore, Bethesda took it out.

im pissed. now that ive seen what a full suit of madness ore armor looks like im going to have to spend hours and hours looking around for madness ore until i can get one.

dude the first few missions almost every monster you kill has 1 peice i soon had 12 or so peices enough for full armor set i know there is two places that forge armour can any one tell me are they the same armour and weapons or different cause cant find other shop that does it

One shop in crucible does heavy armour & heavy weapons from madness ore. One shop in Bliss makes light armour & light weapons from amber.

Crucible is Madness Armor and Weapons for Madness Ore off the frog thing-a-jigs have it and when you see a blue pixie (except on the road) will be near a deposiot. Amber is the opposite part of town off of Amber from Caves and Wood creatures.

Well... if you want to get technical, they are essentially the same thing. The weapons do the same amount of damage, and when smithed to 125, they equal 85 defense rating. So I guess it just depends on what look your going for, and the type of armor you wear.
